Deema Al-hihi is from Overland Park, KS, and graduated with a Bachelor's in Marketing and a Minor in Psychology from The University of Kansas in May 2023. Since graduation, Deema has been working in both Project Management and social media marketing.

During her undergraduate years at KU, Deema was involved as Campus Correspondent and President of her Her Campus at KU chapter, a community dedicated to creative college women writing for an online magazine, creating social media content, and planning events to support, empower, and uplift one another on campus. She is passionate about advocating for and uplifting women in business, and working for companies that prioritize this alongside inclusivity, communication, and evolution. This passion led her to Women Leaders in Sports, where she has been the Marketing Junior Associate since July, 2024.

Deema also created content for the University of Kansas' Career Center and was involved in other volunteering initiatives through KU's Center for Community Outreach and as a counselor at Kesem at KU.

She is skilled in content creation, email marketing, social media, copywriting, event planning, and team leadership from her previous roles, and enjoys working to implement effective marketing strategies, creatively and strategically.

Outside of work, Deema enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, live music, & ranking matcha lattes at every coffee shop she comes across.
