Announcing Black History Month Initiatives: 2025 HBCU Scholarship Opportunities, Member Resources and “Celebrating Black Women in Sports" Virtual Event
Kansas City, Mo.— Women Leaders in Sports (Women Leaders) is proud to announce its initiatives for Black History Month, including two scholarship opportunities for women from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Throughout February, Women Leaders will honor Black History Month by offering exclusive resources to its members in alignment with the organization’s Women of Color (WOC) Commitment. One highlight is the Women of Color Circle Call on February 24th. The Circle Call titled "Celebrating Black Women in Sports" will feature a panel of Black executive-level women sharing their career journeys and unique experiences in the industry.

Women Leaders in Sports, in Partnership with the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU, Announce 2024 NCAA Division I, II and III Athletic Director Research Findings
Kansas City, Mo.— Women Leaders in Sports (Women Leaders), in collaboration with Distinguished Professor of Practice Glenn Wong and Associate Teaching Professor Stephanie Jarvis, from the Allan “Bud” Selig Master of Sports Law and Business program at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University (ASU Law), publish updated research findings on the career trajectory of NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III athletic directors.
