Carly earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management, along with a minor in Media Management, from the University of Iowa. She also obtained a certificate in Interscholastic Athletic Administration while serving as an Intern Athletic Director. During her time at Iowa, she developed a strong foundation in communications, event management, marketing, and academic support within athletics.

Her experience includes working as an Intern with the University of Iowa Spirit Squads, where she managed digital media, supported game-day operations, and assisted with clinics. She also served as an Intern Athletic Director at Solon High School, overseeing and coordinating all fall and winter athletic events. Most recently, Carly was a Social Media and Communications Intern with the Iowa Heartlanders (ECHL), contributing to guest services, social media strategy, in-game production, and graphic design as well as tutoring Sport and Recreation Management and providing academic support for University of Iowa student athletes.

Outside of her professional work, Carly enjoys spending weekends at the lake, staying active, being outdoors, and attending shows and concerts. She is passionate about supporting female athletes and advancing women in sports, and she looks forward to continuing her involvement in the Kansas City sports community.
