Scholarships funding a 1-year Individual Membership (up to a $200 value) will be awarded to applicants who are unemployed, furloughed, and/or demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Applications close on the last day of each month. Recipients will be notified by the 15th of the following month.

Women Leaders in Sports and Scott Pioli, NFL Executive and National Advisory Council Member, announced the "Scott, Dallas and Mia Pioli Family Endowed HBCU Scholarship" in 2019, which marked the organization's first endowment and it came at a historical milestone for the organization as Women Leaders celebrated its 40th Anniversary. In support of the Women Leaders Women of Color Commitment, presented by adidas, the "Scott, Dallas and Mia Pioli Family HBCU Scholarship" is awarded annually to 20 leaders who demonstrate commitment to intercollegiate athletics and have a desire to advance in the sports industry. This scholarship will be awarded to women working in athletics at an HBCU or who attend/ed an HBCU. 

The recipients of this scholarship must demonstrate a commitment to intercollegiate athletics and the student-athlete; support advancing and advocating for diversity within college athletics; and have a need for financial assistance. For consideration, applicants must complete an application form, which includes a brief essay (500 words or less) that addresses her professional goals and how Women Leaders membership can help her achieve them.

Scholarship includes: a one-year Women Leaders in Sports membership.
