Women Leaders Mentor Match
Women Leaders in Sports provides the opportunity for members to connect and grow together in our virtual mentorship program - Women Leaders Mentor Match. We encourage mentors and mentees to connect in person at the Women Leaders National Convention in Baltimore, MD October 13-15th.
HOW IT WORKS
Mentors will have the opportunity to lift as they rise through coaching and connection with emerging women leaders in sports and will help mentees identify and pursue career growth opportunities. The program is designed to help mentees identify short- and long-term goals, enable them to formulate an effective plan for accomplishing their goals, and much more! The Women Leaders Staff provides an outline of meeting topics, discussion questions and podcast recommendations to guide your pairing throughout the program. This transformational program encourages cross mentorship, where mentors and mentees can learn from each other in their experiences and expertise.
NEW IN 2024!
Participants will be paired one to one
and be assigned to a small group led by a Membership Engagement Committee member. These groups will be dedicated to creating smaller communities of connection among the pairings. We hope that these small groups give mentors and mentees the chance to connect with others outside of their pairing.

Mentors will gain:
- Increased understanding and connection to the work happening at different levels
- Opportunity to utilize leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to give back and serve fellow Women Leaders in Sports members
Mentee growth opportunities:
- Assistance in defining or refining career goals, strategies, and options
- Tangible preparation for new role or responsibilities
- Refined capacity to forward-think when dealing with new conversations, responsibilities, jobs, or situations before they occur
